We had the good fortune of connecting with Celina Foster and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Celina, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is due to my transparency, being transparent with where I’m at with my business and where I’m heading. I understand that not everything Is going to be a smooth ride but I take those bumpy roads as lessons and adjust accordingly.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love being a makeup artist. What sets me apart is I genuinely care about all of my clients. I get to know them on a personal level so I can continue to give them exactly what they want even if they can’t put it into words. It wasn’t easy getting to where I’m at today. It came with a lot of tears, heartache, and sacrifice. I’m not where I want to be but I’m also not where I was yesterday. Maintaining a positive mindset is what allows me to continue to keep working . I see my progress and I’m proud of that. I also see everyone around me cheering me on. It’s great to have people around you who want to see you win as well. A lesson that I’ve learned in my journey so far is to just believe in yourself, your vision, and intuition. If you don’t believe in yourself no one else will believe in you. Speak positivity into yourself and your brand and you will get positivity out. I want the world to know that Celina Mae Beauty is a beauty brand focused on making you feel beautiful and confident wherever you go.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some of my favorite things to do in the city is go to the aquarium, Coca Cola factory, and site see downtown. You’ll find a lot of different things downtown and creative people with a vision just like you. The city is beautiful during the day but even more beautiful at night. With the lights and different people from everywhere you can expect to see it all

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my mom. She’s literally been there for me through any and everything! She’s always supported me and pushed me to keep going when I wanted to quite. I call her for reassurance on everything and she’s always there to assure me that whatever decisions I make In my life is great. Another person who deserves a shoutout is my grandma. My grandma always speaks life into me whenever I just feel like giving up. She makes me laugh when I want to cry and reminds me all the time that She continues to pray for me and everything that is to come in my life.
