Meet Ceilidh Cayenne | Pharmacy Technician, Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ceilidh Cayenne and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ceilidh, do you have a budget? how do you think about personal finances?
I do have a budget, admittedly it’s more of a guideline than a hard rule. I think having the freedom to do things I like when I want to is important, so my spending decisions come from there.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have a YouTube channel called Storytime With Ceilidh. I travel to different areas of New York and try less known things around the city. I also tell stories about my life and myself. I really enjoy changing the names around for people in my stories and leaving it as a guessing game for the people who know me in real life. I started the channel about ten years ago and found it really difficult to get past the embarrassment of recording myself on camera. At the time, I was sharing a room so my roommate was always right there while I’d be acting out situations or editing the same parts over and over. After enough time I realized that if I wanted to do well I would have to stop focusing on what was making me nervous. I want people to know that it’s very okay to try something new or different by yourself if you have to, and that it’s okay to look back at crazy decisions and have a laugh at yourself.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My grandmother left everything she knew in Trinidad to help my parents raise me while they worked and made their money. From teaching me to pray, to helping me with homework. My entire way of being is thanks to her bringing me up.
