We had the good fortune of connecting with Cayden Cook and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cayden, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued a creative career because I enjoy being artistic and learning new things daily. I think of content creation as a form of storytelling and expressing oneself in a fun and relatable manner. This career aligns with my interests, goals, and skills. I enjoy creating content for my audience as well as for brands that I promote. Over time, I have learned a variety of ways to connect with my followers, fellow content creators, and companies. I have honed my content creation skills by creating a variety of types of content including reels, in feed posts, stories, and Instagram Live videos. I am excited to see where this journey takes me next!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am excited to create engaging and memorable content. I started my creative career as a Social Media Manager. Over time, I have enhanced my skills as a Social Media Manager, and I applied those skills to content creation. I enjoy the ever-changing social media landscape. One of my favorite things I learned was connecting with people with varied interests, goals, and backgrounds through creating lifestyle, travel, and food content. Join me as we embark on this journey together!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would go to several restaurants throughout the week including Canoe, The Chastain, Le Bon Nosh, Bistro Niko, Houston’s, and The Varsity. Afterwards, we would grab sweet treats at Henri’s Bakery & Deli. For entertainment, I would recommend the Fox Theatre, the High Museum of Art, the Aquarium, and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. We would also visit some of my favorite spots including The Battery and Ponce City Market. Midweek on a sunny afternoon, we would go rafting on the Chattahoochee River. On Thursday, we would go to Vinings Farmers Market for fresh food and flowers. We would hike the trails and enjoy the waterfall at Roswell Mill on Friday. Saturday morning, we would enjoy a leisurely stroll through the shops at Buckhead Village. To complement our splendid Saturday, we would enjoy relaxing and taking in the spectacular view at the rooftop pool at the W hotel as the sun sets. We would wrap up the weekend by playing pickleball at one of the many great courts in Atlanta. The week would be packed with fun things to experience and magical memories made enjoying the heartbeat of Atlanta.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout is for my mother who has always been my biggest supporter. She inspires me daily to chase my dreams and never give up. I am forever grateful for her unwavering support and belief in me. My mother encourages me to be kind to others and to believe in myself.
