We had the good fortune of connecting with Cassandra Montgomery and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cassandra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
“I decided to start my own real estate brokerage because real estate is not just a career for me; it’s my purpose and the essence of my life. I don’t view the opportunity to help people as work, it’s more of a fulfillment. Since getting my real estate license in 2005 and eventually becoming a broker, I realized early on the profound passion I have for connecting people with their dream homes, helping them make sound investments, and guiding them through important life transitions. This journey is more than just a job; it’s the fulfillment of my life’s purpose.

Opening my brokerage allows me to live out this purpose every day and have the flexibility to be there in every aspect of real estate. It provides me with the freedom to shape a business that’s deeply aligned with my core values and my unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. By doing so, I can create a lasting impact in the lives of my clients and the community I serve. This business venture isn’t just about the present; it’s a lifelong commitment to making a meaningful difference through real estate.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m the proud founder and owner of CASSMONT Realty, LLC, a real estate brokerage dedicated to providing exceptional service and tailored solutions to our clients. What sets us apart from others in the industry is our unwavering commitment to personalized service, innovation, and a client-centric approach. I’m also proud to have a 70% referral base, repeat business and referrals have shown the level of satisfaction we provide, which keeps me going and honored to serve the needs to every buyer, seller, investor, both in residential and commercial.

I strongly feel, what truly sets us apart is our client-first mentality. We believe in building relationships, not just transactions. Our team takes the time to understand the unique needs and goals of each client, ensuring that every real estate experience is tailored to their individual preferences and requirements. This dedication to client satisfaction has earned us a reputation for going the extra mile to exceed expectations and provide a smooth, seamless, trusting, and luxurious exeperience. This is how I got to where I am today, as a top platinum producing realtor, with many accolades over the past 18 years setting me apart from the competition. I believe one should only compete with oneself, finding creativity, innovation or processes, and a consistent service model setting the bar at it’s highest for all clients. I’m excited about the future with a vision to continue to help as many people as God allows. This is a gift and I cherish the opportunities.

The journey to where we are today hasn’t been without its challenges. Building a real estate brokerage from the ground up is a demanding endeavor. It requires dedication, perseverance, and a willingness to adapt to changing market dynamics. Rising interest rates for example, challenges us to continue to get creative in a market to assist our clients to make the best decisions for them both now and for the future.

To overcome many challenges, we remained agile and open to change and adapting. We accept each challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow, we also embraced technology to streamline our operations, and consistently invested in ongoing education. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the significance of resilience. In the real estate industry, setbacks are inevitable, but it’s how we respond to them that defines our success. Each obstacle was an opportunity for growth and innovation, and we emerged stronger and more resilient from each challenge.

What I would like the world to know about our brand and story is that we are driven by a genuine passion for real estate and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients. We are not just in the business of buying and selling properties; we are in the business of building lasting relationships and helping people achieve their dreams. Our story is one of dedication, service, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
CASSMONT Realty, LLC, is more than just a real estate brokerage; it’s a testament to our dedication to our clients, our ability to overcome challenges in dynamic markets, and our unwavering passion for what we do. We’re excited about the future and the opportunity to continue serving our clients with the highest level of care, trust, and expertise.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe a significant debt of gratitude to my late grandfather, who played a pivotal role in shaping my entrepreneurial spirit and instilling in me the drive to excel. His unwavering encouragement, unwavering belief in my abilities, and his consistent acknowledgment of my accomplishments served as a constant source of inspiration.

My grandfather’s support was not just uplifting; it was transformative. His words and actions fueled my determination to pursue a career in real estate and eventually start my own brokerage. His belief in me gave me the confidence to take risks and embrace opportunities, and his memory continues to drive me forward every day.

While he is no longer with us, I carry his legacy with me in everything I do, and I am committed to honoring his memory through the passion and dedication I bring to my work in the real estate industry. I credit my late grandfather for not only igniting the spark of entrepreneurship within me but also for being a guiding light throughout my journey.
