We had the good fortune of connecting with Cashme’ Gonzales and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cashme’, what role has risk played in your life or career?
My entire life I’ve been taking risks. Trying my mother’s rules, seeing what I could get away with, to putting in for positions I had no clue about while working for the federal government. As a result, this is how I know I can put my mind to any & everything & succeed. Being my true authentic self, I realized I always went against the norm of what others deemed fit. I am the ultimate risk taker. In my business I jump head first, learning and maneuvering as I go. I have lived a fulfilling life thus far because of my unique way of thinking, I am always thinking of the greater good for myself & others. In my career the main goal is helping others become successful at seeing their self for who they truly are. There is so much power in knowing thyself. As I went through my journey of self reflection & introspection, I wrote three self reflection journals which help others navigate through their thoughts and feelings while giving them different perspectives & insights on how to overcome their own fears, and challenges. Simple yet effective.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have always been admired and complimented on my energy. I walk into rooms and make people smile and feel good about themselves. Helping others is a reward within itself. God honed in on me & lead me to walk this bold journey of self mastery. I wanted my words to have a voice so I didn’t hide them away inside and become sad, so I wrote. I wrote alot as a child not realizing until I became an adult that I was always navigating and finding ways to keep myself happy. Humility is my best teacher, everything that I’ve experienced is because I made a choice to walk that path. Along my journey I came to understanding that we are all here experiencing, literally. I went from publishing self reflection journals, coaching clients, hosting brunches, and now hosting retreats. My goal is to help as many people who decide they want help. My clients resonate with me, that’s why they choose me. I coach three times out of the week to stay grounded and always replenish self. I host three retreats a year “Inner Bloom Haven”. I decided to to intertwine one of my favorite things to do as a child into adult hood, and incorporated it into my business, travel. I want the world to know that they are enough! You can do anything you work towards. Take risks, & live life freely. Stay obedient, disciplined, consistent, all the while staying positive.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love to experience! Here in South Florida there are so many hidden gems! We would definitely head out to eat at a few spots, Astra Wynwood, Mila, Setai, Swan, & Kiki on the River. Adventure time at Treetop Trekking Miami has dope excursions, gun range, beach day, and to close it off Lapis Spa for some well worth relaxation!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God first, my children, my tribe, and my clients. My tribe consists of many individuals who make my life worth living. They encourage me to stay courageous & grounded on my journey. They remind me on countless occasions that I am making a difference. I use My Tribe because there are quite a few, individually they know whom they are, & I am forever grateful for each & every one of them.
