We had the good fortune of connecting with Carlos Haynes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carlos, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite quote comes from my favorite restaurant, The 5 Bistro. Their motto is “every guest, every time”. I think that is so important in business. Every guest should be treated like your business is dependent on their patronage. I try to leave a positive lasting impression on every single customer I have every single time.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I want the world to know that no matter what obstacles you have encountered in life you can always be a conquer. I had to overcome so many challenges to get to the place I am today but I never gave up on me. I’ve learned that as long as you don’t give up your always a winner. My business is just the beginning of what God has in store for me and I’m excited about my future.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So I’m usually not the friend who you would call to hang out because I’m always working. I would recommend a nice hookah lounge called Bliss that’s located in Duluth.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have a few mentors that played a huge role in why I work so hard to build my brand. My sister Paizlei is always encouraging and reminding me that I am essential. Shout out to my mom and father always have my back no matter what. And lastly my cousin Christian for showing me what it’s like to run a successful business and for always encouraging me to be the best me!
