We had the good fortune of connecting with Calje Jordan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Calje, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was at first extremely nervous and scared. Due to the fact I was already in my medical career and was torn in between making my boss rich or myself ( potentially) but I completely surrounded myself amongst genuine women that are heading or already established in their business, so I learned a lot and it eventually rubbed off on me. It wasn’t a easy process but I stayed consistent, I didn’t allow myself to make excuses and most importantly stayed positive and BOOM it happened.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is lash extensions, being able to style and create looks for any type of client is no longer a skill for me I look at it as my art. I am most proud of being almost 3 years as a lash artist and 2 years of solid entrepreneurship ( In business for myself ). It definitely wasn’t easy but once I changed my thinking I changed my life. One of the lessons I learned along the way is to do your very best put your all into it and I promise you will succeed. And mostly never give up ! I want the world to know about me, my brand and story is ANYTHING is possible your life can change if you put in the work and believe in yourself. If I can do it you can too.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I personally would have to give a shout out to Janieda she the owner of a beautiful spa called “The Brow Girl” because we have history we actually worked ( over worked and underpaid) at Atlanta’s Top plastic surgery office and we always told each other are dreams and goals then made it happen. We definitely pushed each other! Also my best friend Precious Hall who always support me and encourages me when I always need it. One of my favorite books is written by Robert Kiyosaki called Rich Dad Poor Dad. And for sure all of my clients that continuously and consistently supports me. It’s greatly appreciated seriously they watched me grow.
