We had the good fortune of connecting with Caleb “D Castro” Stagg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Caleb “D Castro”, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
To me, success is not defined by the position that someone holds. It is defined and measured by the obstacles that you overcome while trying to succeed.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I wear many hats within the industry from acting and working alongside Tyler Perry and Irv Gotti, to being behind the camera. I have had the pleasure of photographing celebrities like 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Jamie Foxx, Ludacris, T.I. and Dapper Dan, just to name a few. I am also one of the top influencers on the Clubhouse app, having the #1 room giving thousands of ppl opportunities, while interviewing celebrities that were drawn to my room, from Gillie The King, Wack 100, Dame Dash, T-Pain, Brian Michael Cox, T-Boz of TLC, Lil Scrappy, and the list goes on. I also help artists and companies with marketing and branding as well. Relationships is one of the key things that got me where I am today. It amazes me how a lot of people don’t realize the value and importance of relationships and how they are worth more than money. A solid relationship can be the difference maker in someone trying to achieve their goals in life. Nothing was easy for me, but I love challenges and started embracing them because its the best way for me to learn and grow to better myself. Having faith and staying positive are also key elements to my success.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to eat so the first place I would take an out of town visitor to would be “Copper Cove” in Buckhead. S/o to the owner, Mr. Ruggs. Not only does it have some of the best food in Atlanta but it has a chill laid back vibe, great music, drinks, hookahs, and celebs like to hangout there too. Best for lunch/dinner. For brunch, my top 3 places would be, “Atlanta Breakfast Club”, “Milk & Honey”, and “Breakfast at Barney’s”.
