We had the good fortune of connecting with Caitlin & Briana and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caitlin and Briana, every day, we talk about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Vibez started with the thought that the lens of social media, while immeasurable, can have a distorted view. We all often feel like this world, especially through social media, may not have a place for our own unique voices. Even the narrative that other social media agencies create for people, brands, and businesses can seem one-note. Our business idea comes from the notion that individuality should not only be embraced but amplified. One of the definitions of vibe is to “transmit or give out (a feeling or atmosphere).” At Vibez, we want to give out a bold, authentic, diverse, and inclusive atmosphere where all communities are welcome. We have had experiences of our own where we had to hold ourselves back or accommodate a normative point of view when delivering a message on various social media platforms. We are curating a social media management company that intentionally seeks uniqueness and celebrates being bold and authentic.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Vibez is new, like really new! Vibez Social Media Management is proud of being established in late 2023 and proud of the various services and expertise we offer. We have expertise in the beauty industry but offer valuable insights into all areas of business. Our expertise comes from our years of retail and wholesale leadership experience. As partners, Caitlin and Briana have worked together on social media projects that have been recognized by L’Oreal and L’Oreal affiliates. Our passions lie within community engagement such as DEI events and event planning (networking, launches, etc). We understand how to cater to a diverse consumer to achieve sales but also know how to care about your business as well. We strive to understand your vision, we make decisions based on data and insights, and we continually optimize content growth. At Vibez, we challenge ourselves to be better by constantly learning and growing our skills through certifications, conferences, and training modules on top social media tools such as Canva. The most eye-opening lesson as business owners is not to discredit yourself. We are more than capable of figuring out things we may not have the answer to and have the talent to adapt in all scenarios of business and social media. We are a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to helping you make a meaningful impact in the digital world. Our mission is to empower individuals, businesses, and brands to express their authentic selves through social media.

We want to shoutout all those that challenge uniformity but cultivate a sense of community. To those that said/say no when everyone else said yes. We want to recognize those that take the time to understand that no two people are alike. We shout out those that recognize and tolerate more than one perspective but stand firm in their individuality. We are inspired, motivated, and look to you for courage and insight.
