Meet Caisy Alicia Frank | CEO of Caisy’s Closet

We had the good fortune of connecting with Caisy Alicia Frank and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caisy Alicia, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
At Caisy’s Closet, our mission is to offer affordable athleisure wear and accessories for tweens to women, ensuring that fashion doesn’t break the bank. We actively participate in local pop-up shops, markets, and school career days, promoting our business every chance we get. Beyond our products, we’re dedicated to making a positive impact through donations in New York, Jamaica WI, Guyana, and Haiti. Our vision is to become a household name, connecting with communities and providing accessible style globally.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Caisy’s Closet originated from a childhood desire for a unique hotel room, complete with a pool attached – a whimsical idea that sparked the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. My mom, recognizing my interests in school work, gymnastics, and fashion, suggested starting an online boutique during one of her trips to China for work. From that moment, Caisy’s Closet took shape. After playful beginnings, we shifted gears and officially incorporated in 2021, adapting our inventory to reflect my evolving tween style. This journey is not just about clothing; it’s a reflection of personal growth and a commitment to bringing my authentic style to others.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
LA is hands down my favorite city! Whenever I visit, my aunt’s awesome house becomes home base, and we make sure to hit up cool spots like Barton G and many Thai infused restaurants for some delicious eats. Downtown LA is a must for loads of pictures, and we always check out a pop-up museum for a unique experience. Oh, and the trampoline parks and Six Flags are absolute go-to’s for a dose of thrill and excitement! LA never fails to give me amazing memories.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It would have to be my mother. She’s resilient, strong, understanding, promotes healthy and honest communication between her and I and many others she comes in contact with. My amazing mother Sherese Shorter has always fostered a strong relationship with me. My mom pretty much allows and supports me to do things that I have a strong interest in. She says “if you like it, then I love it.” Even at a very young age she would ask me questions like, so why do you want to do this. Whether it was swimming, dance classes, gymnastics and starting my online boutique. I had to always know why I wanted to do these things. If I didn’t have a good reason she would send me to my room to think about it and write all the pros and cons down and I would have to revisit it with her. My mother goes above and beyond to make sure I’m well educated (I’ve been taking extra classes from the age of 6) I’m well travelled and of course well mannered. Along with my very amazing tighly knit community of Family and friends I’m honestly grateful for all of my experiences thus far. But yeah my MOM is the bomb.com, she’s truly my bestie. Plus her fashion sense is lit.
