We had the good fortune of connecting with Busola Akinpade and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Busola, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of our gifting concierge business is our unwavering dedication to personalized service and attention to detail.

Our commitment to exceptional customer service and the ability to transform ordinary gifts into extraordinary moments sets our brand apart in the competitive gifting industry.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
OMG “Oh My Gift” Concierge Service is gift service business. We curate beautiful and thoughtful gifts for our clients.

What I’m most proud of is knowing I’ve played a part in creating joyous and memorable moments for our clients and their recipients. Witnessing the delight and appreciation from both parties with a carefully curated gift set.

Also proud of the positive impact on the community by giving back through charitable initiatives or supporting local artisans and businesses in our gift selections.

Like any thing, businesses comes with its challenges like adequate time management, sourcing for the right gifts and even finding clients etc

With time, I’ve become more adept at managing my time efficiently, recognizing when to step back and recharge, and when to seek help.

I want people to know they should follow their passion. And it doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy. Also knowing when to seek help or delegate certain task. As a business owner you can’t do it all. That’s one of the lessons I learned earlier on, though I may wear many hats, I can’t do it all.

Our business also supports organizations like Bridges to Tomorrow which supports education in rural and low income parts of Nigeria.

So an OMG Gift is the gift that keeps on giving.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First of all because I love to cook and entertain, first stop is a warm welcome at my home with a few friends in the area. The more the merrier.

We will drive around the city and visit some amazing places in downtown Atl- Centennial park, CNN, Coca Cola and Lenox mall or Mall of Ga for shopping.

We would visit Ike’s Restaurant in Norcross for some delish African cuisine, I also love fufu catering which offers local
Nigerian dishes.

I also enjoy going to the comedy club so definitely taking the friend to visit Punch line comedy club.

I will be open to exploring new restaurants and places in the area as well.

Sunday morning we will visit Victory church for service.

Meeting exciting people can happen anywhere.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First of all, thanks to my wonderful sister, Moni Delano who has also been very supportive being that she is a business owner, I often sought her opinion in the beginning stages. Also the support of my dear husband, Toyin Akinpade who helps with some of the technical issues. I’m always grateful for his support in the beginning and ongoing.

I have some Amazing friends that are also now clients. If I had to mention names, the list may never end. 😀
