We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryant Murray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryant, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success I’ve had is the support and belief my family, friends, and customers have given me. Your brand is nothing without people behind you and support your vision. So I thank God and I thank everyone that has purchased or shared anything with my brand.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So about VALiiD Threads…it’s a clothing brand that I launched on Memorial Day of 2020. Right in the middle of the pandemic. I’ve always been into graphic tees and I’ve been wanting to create a brand for years. Finally took a leap of faith and put it out there. It hasn’t been easy, some days and months are better than others, but I’m learning as I go, making changes and adjustments as needed along the way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A week in Atlanta…man let’s see. I would take them to the Trap Museum, College Football Hall of Fame, Civil Rights Museum, Jackson Street Bridge, Krog Street Tunnel, Little Five Points, to name a few things to do. Food wise, Busy Bee, BQE, Slutty Vegan. To drink and hang out, Tom, Dick, and Hank, Pin & Proper, Fellaship.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my children. Zara Murray & Cairo Murray. As with anyone, they are my motivation and drive.
