We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan Majors and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
In 2012, Bryan began laying the foundation for a legacy through Major Prep LLC, Bryan Majors LLC, Major Prep Apparel, and Major Prep Cycle Breakers (501C3). These ventures were built on the values instilled by his father – always being prepared for life’s opportunities and challenges. His mission was clear: to help others prepare to overcome individual obstacles that hinder the achievement of their life goals.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business stands out because we prioritize preparation over everything else. While many focus solely on the prize or end goal, we dedicate ourselves to the journey of preparation. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing, but every challenge has been worth it. We firmly believe in delayed gratification to unlock our full potential in life. Along our journey, we’ve conquered every obstacle thanks to our patience, resilience, faith, confidence, and unwavering support system. The story of our brand is one that the world needs to hear, and we’re determined to ensure it’s heard. It’s only a matter of time because we want everyone to realize that greatness is cultivated through preparation.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When in the city, a must-visit spot for breakfast is Isabel’s. Afterward, head to The Road for a workout session, then hopefully Handles & Sampson Entertainment are having a event to enjoy some music & fun.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to express gratitude to my family, particularly my mother, who, as a widow, raised four African-American men, all of whom have attained high school diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, and master’s degrees. None of us have been incarcerated or have any juvenile records. We’ve overcome numerous challenges, demonstrating the significance of family, education, and resilience through our example.
