We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan Daniels and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I believe everyone has had at least one bad customer service experience. I have always been passionate about providing memorable and efficient experiences for customers and guests. What better way to do so, than to put matters into my own hands and ensure that my clients and guests get exactly what they paid for? Providing them with delicious food, efficient service, professionalism, and charismatic conversation are the standards I live by.

Additionally, I’ve always had a bit of issue with authority as it pertains to anyone delegated to be my manager. I’ve always felt that my decision-making and problem solving is much more straightforward and based off of common sense. But as we all know, common sense is not so common. So, by creating my business and running it on my own, I’m able to construct a well-oiled machine that provides high level service to my clients and guests.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m proud of merely starting and staying with my goal of starting My Ninja. Many people struggle to get the ball rolling, and some struggle to weather the storm of trying to make their business profitable. I’m just proud of staying with it! It’s provided some financial versatility and freedom to prevent me from getting stuck mentally at a job I didn’t enjoy.

The process of getting to the point I’ve reached today has been tough! The catering business is an up and down business, which can provide a lot of stress for sure. However, I prefer to harness that energy and transfer it into continuing to be productive and keep pushing forward. It definitely creates character!

I personally want the world to know that I am committed to excellent service and producing dishes that have a long-lasting effect for my clients and guests. I truly enjoy using my personality to create a memorable experience.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m really more of a homebody to be honest. However, when I do go out, I tend to frequent the less known places that have amazing food, Particularly, any spot with top notch ramen. An escape room or movie outing are my usual go-to spots as well. I’m also a regular roller skater at Cascade Family Skate rink for my weekly exercise.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a shout out to my parents, Angela & David Daniels. They helped me organize my thoughts, plans, marketing, service structure, infrastructure, and most of all were extremely supportive in my ambition to start and run My Ninja. They both have different perspectives that helped me remain balanced in my approach. Couldn’t be any more grateful for the love, patience, and support they provided me, and still do to this day!
