We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
I have two contributing factors that really changed the way I looked at my business and success. The first one was realizing that I was worth so much more than I was accepting. When you are running a business that has the potential to change your life, you must accept that everything you are working for will indeed come to the present. Self-doubt is a huge way to ruin your success before it even begins. The second most important contributing factor was surrounding myself with people who changed my limited beliefs. I invested in business tools that attributed to taking my business to another level. I challenged myself daily to get rid of bad habits and surrounded myself with genuine people who have been or are going where I see myself in the future. The energy that comes with someone who wants to genuinely see you win, is ultimately unmatched.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think what sets me most apart from others is the experience a client gets when they work with me. I always want to create the most comfortable, professional and well-timed experience as possible. Even long after the business affairs are completed, I still want my clients to follow-up with us or refer us as a trusted company or even develop a long-lasting relationship with my business. My clients are a huge part of my success, so I must make sure the experience they receive from us is different than every other company. I owe where I am today to changing my mindset. That includes, developing healthy business relationships, learning to ask for help when it is necessary, and manifesting my own destiny with a whole new mindset. These changes may seem easy, but my biggest challenge was finding comfortability outside of my comfort zone. Partaking in activities and a whole new schedule that was nowhere near my norm. Needless to say, it wasn’t easy, but the reward from my risk was definitely worth it.
An unbelievably valuable lesson I have learned along the way to success is choosing carefully who you want to bring on that journey with you. Everyone does not see your vision and that is okay. Just make sure when it is time to show up, that you are front and center every time, because nobody is going to appreciate your success more than you.
I want the world to know that Brooke’s Marketing & Branding Co. is not just another company created to take your money. This company was created with the intention to prepare your business with the tools of success. We want to assist you with building your empire as long as it takes and we want to be a part of all your ups and downs. This is more than just a company; we are creating an empowering lifestyle movement.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am in the areas of Spartanburg, SC and Greenville, SC so these cities are constantly evolving to create experiences for travelers and localist. So, we would visit the following,
-Cribbs Kitchen, a nice chill, relaxed spot for great food.
-Firebirds, a more upscale restaurant with great food
-Spare Time Bowling, a bowling alley with an arcade & great food for a night of fun
-Barnet Park/Chapman Cultural Center, these places provide live music, many outdoor activities such as Live Concerts, Music on Main, a Kit Flying Festival, live play performances, even Art Gallery showings(Pre-Covid).
-Hub City Spartanburg, a plethora of nice restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, nice parks, an outdoor bar that provides a mini putt-putt goal area, home of The Spring Fling & areas to enjoy outside sitting & eating areas that consist of live music.
-Top Golf, an outdoor golfing experience. Also, great food, drinks and music that you can relax and enjoy with a group of friends or family.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shoutout someone who precisely changed everything about the way I thought about business. Last year, I invested in a business coach, Anita Scruggs, who not only took my business to another level, but she also made it a point to become my friend. She challenged me to change my bad habits, taught me the correct way to invest into my business, equipped me with the tools to run a successful business and most of all she fed me those honest truths at the times I needed them the most. We did a complete over-haul of how I operated my business, and my company has done nothing but excel ever since. She makes sure to give the best educated advice and she is extremely focused on finding solutions to your business pain points. I have received nothing but encouragement, love and educated guidance.
