We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Gibson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittney, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was how can I share with other moms out there how I keep myself and my children hair healthy and growing. So I decided to start my own hair care brand using natural ingredients that I use to keep my hair healthy and kids. Thats why I call it Mommy and Me Natural Remedy

What should our readers know about your business?
Mommy and Me Natural Remedy empower individuals to achieve their healthiest, most beautiful hair by providing premium, eco friendly hair care products rooted in natural and innovation. We are committed to using the finest natural ingredients, promoting sustainability, and delivering effective solutions that nourish, protect, and enhance hair health for all. No this journey has not been easy but anything worth doing comes with trials and tribulations. The lesson l’ve learned is that anything you do you will need a team and never be afraid to fail long as you get back up. I want the world to know that Mommy and Me is one of the best brands out. We care about your hair, your children and the state of it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well I’m from ATL so it’s always something to lol. I’ would take my bestie to a restaurant and lounge. I’ve recently tried this place called Sea Salt and the food, drinks, and decor was on point. I would also to her to Tea Around Town we could sip or tea while we ride around downtown and check the scenery out. It’s so many good places to visit in Atlanta so we would definitely have a ball.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to God first, my boo, children, family and friends. They have been 10 toes down with supporting me, and pushing me to keep going. I’m so grateful for each and every one of them. From their support to purchasing my products and telling me how much they love it. It makes me feel good knowing I’m helping people with keeping their hair healthy and their kids.
