Hi Brittany, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Photography provides me with a platform to express myself beyond the limitations of words. Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by the art of capturing moments, and it has remained an very important part of my existence. Photographs serve as gateways to the past, evoking not just visuals but also the fragrances, sounds, and sentiments intertwined with those moments frozen in time. Choosing to pursue a career in photography felt instinctive, as it allows me to create narratives and translate my passion into tangible, meaningful creations. My love for visual storytelling empowers me to capture momentary moments, utilizing composition, lighting, and perspective. The thrill of emotions and forging connections through my art is unparalleled. I believe that continual growth and learning are necessary for an evolving artist. Embrace your journey of pushing boundaries to uncover the truest expression of oneself. This is the experience I aspire to offer to all those who entrust me with their memories. I aim for my clients to feel truly cherished each time they step in front of my camera lens.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What distinguishes me is my distinct vision and style. Through my photos, I narrate stories and capture the finest essence of my clients. My commitment to consistency is impeccable. Moreover, my reliability is unquestionable; my clients can attest that I consistently deliver nothing short of amazing work, always surpassing expectations. I prioritize cultivating a positive reputation, ensuring that each interaction yields a favorable experience. I have effective marketing strategies to engage my target audience and consistently communicate my value, maintaining a robust online presence across various social platforms and through active networking efforts.

The first camera I ever owned it was a Nikon I bought that camera using every penny of my savings, which I regrettably had to sell to secure a down payment for my car which I lost a couple of years later from a accident. This was a setback that delayed my career progression by several years. I still was entrusting in God’s plans during this challenging period, I found myself at a standstill, trying to grasp the idea of the loss of my car, job, and even family members. Despite the adversity, my parents stepped in and graciously purchased me another camera. This gesture came at one of the most difficult junctures of my life. With only a camera in hand, I realized I was pursuing the right path, as I remained steadfast in my passion despite the turmoil surrounding me, I started taking pictures again.

During the initial stages of my career, I encountered many challenges that demanded extensive hours devoted to portfolio development, networking, and brand establishment. Through this journey, I’ve acquired the skill of setting boundaries and discerning which projects align with my artistic vision and values, prioritizing them over mere financial gains. As an entrepreneur, I’ve come to understand that self-care directly influences business success; presenting oneself as the optimal version is paramount. It’s crucial to remain grounded and cultivate relationships, pursue hobbies, and indulge in activities outside the realm of career pursuits, ensuring a well-rounded and fulfilling life.

I want the world to know that I’m inspiring others, fostering connections, challenging conventions, and leaving a lasting impression on the world. Above all, I hope to be remembered for my infectious smile, laughter, and ability to create joyous moments. I aim to remain authentic, weaving compelling narratives through my imagery and maintaining unwavering dedication to my craft. Additionally, I strive to exert a positive influence, leaving a significant mark wherever I tread.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m truly a nature enthusiast and not much of a partygoer. Instead, I’d likely take my friends to my cherished spot, Clayton County International Park, for a leisurely walk, some exercise, perhaps a bit of journaling, and meditation. Mental health holds utmost importance to me, especially during challenging times when finding peace and love is paramount. While I don’t indulge in drinking, I thoroughly enjoy good food, particularly pasta, so we could happily explore any pasta joint together.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I express gratitude to God for consistently revealing my value and accompanying me throughout my journey. Without divine grace, none of my endeavors would be possible. Additionally, I extend heartfelt appreciation to my family, who serve as my unwavering pillars of support, and to my friends, who consistently offer encouragement when I need it most. Above all, immense thanks go to the love of my life, for constantly urging me to reach my highest potential, presenting new challenges, and encouraging me to perceive my art from fresh perspectives with each passing moment.
