We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittani Glover and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittani, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When thinking about risk I look at the worse case scenario. In the industry of modeling, there is a lot of “sweat equity” involved, meaning time, effort, and putting in my own work. I travel to model calls and fashion shows, which of course is done on my dime at times. Is it a risk? Could I go out there and they not choose me? Absolutely.

However, what’s the worst case scenario? I experience a new city, network, meet other models and show producers, gain some constructive criticism hopefully, and I just go back home. I wouldn’t consider that a loss.

I am a strong believer that as long as we go into a situation trusting that whatever is meant to be gained will be, there is no loss.

Now, if you set your own expectations and allow yourself to be disappointed and ruin your mood or experience, you just missed out on anything and everything you could have gained!

So, I don’t take any losses.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Noirba is my middle name backwards, I wanted to create my own identity without getting rid of what makes me who I am, so I didn’t want to just create a random stage/industry name. Noirba By Nature came about because I wanted people to know that who I am, who I become, and who I used to be are all synonymous. Growing and developing are natural occurrences, change is natural!

Whenever I am modeling, speaking, or interacting with my followers my goal is to influence the healing that leads to positive change. I want to show people how loving yourself changes your life. How loving yourself cause you to take control. How you can change everything by simply changing your perspective.

If you follow me I speak a lot about how everything is linked together, honestly I am not the most beautiful person if just speaking aesthetically, but because I am extraordinarily beautiful on the inside, I shine like a light!

If you don’t get anything else from my brand, I want you to see that focusing on yourself, dealing with your insides alters your reality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There is so much going on in Atlanta we could play eeny meeny minie moe! I really don’t like doing things I’ve already done, I prefer to go places I hadn’t and have totally new experiences, so we would do a mix of both.

We would get a sandwich from Cheba Hut and maybe sit at the park. I would DEFINITELY tell my friend we are getting Sugar Shane’s because I am addicted!

I have never been to Fellaship and definitely want to go!

I am a member of The Gathering Spot, so I definitely would take her to one of the many events they have and/or just to their bar for a nice Social time and drinks.

We would go to a few spots I have been wanting to try in Buckhead.

Outside of that I would let the city decide!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my Shoutout to My Sister Circle! I have been blessed beyond measure to be connected to wonderful women they understand sisterhood as well as business. We hold each other accountable as well as celebrate our successes. I can depend on these women just as they can depend on me and this is a for life bond that God himself instilled in us! Just to highlight a few:

Melanie Swygert- Taylor Made Cakes & Co
Kenesha Coleman- PABoys Catering and The King’s Kitchen
Carolyn Williams – Boss Tribe Fitness
Kiana Thomas – Licensed Counselor/ Therapist
Brionna Glover- COO of COLORED, CONTENT CREATOR

Just wonderful, boss women that are beautiful inside and out. They make me better!
