We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Fagbemi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brian, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Financial freedom has always been important to me. One can never go wrong being your own boss. It will definitely test you and certainly test whether it’s for you. When you have the drive, determination and desire nobody can stop!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Bemi and Jay started in 2020 when we were still engaged. We wanted to do something different. Something to document our lives and show our future children. In May of 2020 we had our first child and YouTube provided a way for us to share our love and joy with the world. During that gap of raising our son and covid 19 I decided to share my shoe hame with the world. During this time I learned the importance of being consistent, asking for help from other in the same field, and doing plenty of research. I want the world to know that we are really just getting started working with other brands the main focus is to continue to be ourselves truly believing what is for us will not miss us.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Houston, Texas we would have to get some BBQ,China Town and definitely get some Nigerian food from Kingsway Bakery. With breakfast being the most important part of the day we would HAVE to hit up some brunch spots like Lost and Found and K Camp. Dinner spot that never disappoints is Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. Hang out at Pop Stroke one night and Andrettis another night. Houston has many cultures so all the food you can think of is here.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout goes to my Good Thang! My wife she has been my biggest supporter. My family Mom and sisters. Another person has been Aaron Benividez. We talk shoes EVERYDAY. Up till this day before I publish a video I always send it to him for his opinion. Two eyes are always better than one. He always keep it real with me.
