Meet Brian Bradley | Clothing Designer, Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brian, why did you pursue a creative career?
I didn’t know what else to do. I was really good at photoshop/computers at a young age and enjoyed drawing during class instead of paying attention. At first i wanted to be a biologist but I sucked at science and math. I never wanted to do something that was boring because I would slack off anyway so it just seemed like the best option.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I make hoodies and t-shirts in my apartment to put it in simply! But I design clothing for businesses and run my own clothing brand. I’m most proud that I’ve taken art that I’ve made with my own two hands, and people want to wear it around during their day. It’s wild to me. It wasn’t easy, I’ve messed up a lot of shirts and spent a lot of time studying techniques for embroidery and business. A big lesson I’ve learned is that you can never know how something is going to work out until you actually send it out into the world. No amount of planning can replicate real life. I don’t have much to explain about my band, but it would be cool if anyone reading would check out my designs.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to the botanical garden, the aquarium and see what kind of food spots we could go to. I’ll eat pretty much anywhere though. The aquarium is probably the sickest place in the state though.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To my friends in college that helped me through my time there. And my mother and father. I love you all.
