Meet Brian A M Green | Chief Event Architect

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian A M Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brian A M, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
That is a great question. For me, work-life balance has often been a tumultuous and dynamic journey. It has truly evolved over time as my career has grown. In the early years, I was deeply immersed in building my brand and establishing myself within the industry, often prioritizing work over personal time. However, as I gained experience and insight, I came to realize the importance of nurturing both my professional aspirations and my well-being. Now, I approach balance as a delicate harmony between pursuing my passion for event planning, and speaking engagements, and educating others, while also carving out dedicated time for self-care, family, and rejuvenation. I don’t always hit the mark and sometimes I am way better at one than the other, but each day I work towards striking that balance as best I can. For me, it’s about being intentional with my time, setting boundaries, and finding joy in both my professional and personal pursuits

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
In the world of luxury events, I create and execute unforgettable experiences that transcend borders, the world of luxury events, I design unforgettable experiences that transcend borders, while also sharing my expertise and passion as an educator and dynamic speaker.
Nothing worth it is ever easy. Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. It takes discipline, dedication, dogged-determination and a healthy dose of delusion! I know everyone did a double-take on the last word – but it does take a bit of delusion to believe that you can open a business, offer a product or service and that you will not only be great and successful but that you will do it so well that you will make a difference in people’s lives while crafting the life you have dreamed of! But we do it!
My business as taken me around the world curating some of the most lavish events in some fabulous places and I get to speak on stages across the globe about this industry that I am so passionate about – the events industry.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Absolutely, I appreciate the importance of acknowledging Atlanta’s rich history, particularly its significance in the civil rights movement and its deep ties to Black culture and heritage. With that in mind, for a week-long visit with my best friend, we would start by paying homage to Atlanta’s civil rights roots with a visit to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and the National Center For Civil and Human Rights.
From there we would hit some of the best food experiences Atlanta has to offer. With several establishments now boasting Michelin Stars, we will have lots of great meals in our future! And what better way to end the week than by visiting one of the many festivals that happen in Atlanta all year long!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There have been so many people over time who have poured into me and stood by my side through good times and bad. I definitely would want to shout out my family, my great friends, and in the industry – I have to shout out Terrica Skaggs of Cocktails & Details for always being the biggest cheerleader of everyone else’s success!
