We had the good fortune of connecting with Breanna Griffin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Breanna, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea of my business because one day I was planning my youngest daughters first birthday party. I was on Pinterest, Facebook, IG scrolling lol looking at party ideas, and themes and came across a soft play set up and I thought it looked amazing. So I start looking for someone who offers soft play locally and did find anyone so I really just decided then I can do this, you know I can do this and offer it for other children.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others is my business is unique to my local area. I am the only one who offers soft play. I am most excited about growing my business, expanding my equipment, and bringing awareness to the benefits of soft play, and I am excited to grow and show everyone what I have to offer. It has not been easy. Everyday is a struggle, but I have an amazing support system that cheers me on and pushes me not to give up. I would like the world to know that I am committed to my brand, I want to be taken serious, I want people to know that if I can start a business from nothing that it is possible for anyone with a dream and a vision and to never give up no matter where you’re at in life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in a small up coming city. If I had to take a friend out I would probably start out with a night hanging with a small group of friends. We all would bring over a dish and have drinks. If we were going out we would probably go to a nice restaurant, night club, or hit up top golf or Dave and busters. I love when our city has 3rd Fridays downtown everyone gathers there are vendors, food trucks, car shows, dancing, and fun for kids.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to my close family, my mother, Jwana. My aunt Romunda, and my three children Jamia, Kenley, and Ja’kara. They have been nothing but loving, supportive, and patient with me. They always lend a helping hand, they are my biggest supporters, they help with set ups, business advice, even my children.. without their help I would not be able to do what I do.
