We had the good fortune of connecting with Bre Scott and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bre, what inspires you?
Hey there! I’m Bre, the creative force behind Sky Stitched Designs. Sky Stitched Designs holds a special place in my heart because it goes beyond fashion; it’s about fostering a community where each person is not just a consumer but a participant in a lifestyle. The brand’s commitment to inclusivity resonates with me deeply, as it recognizes the importance of making fashion accessible to everyone. The blend of cutting-edge designs inspired by anime and real-world fashion allows individuals to authentically express themselves, celebrating their unique identities. This concept of becoming a “Sky Stitched Doll” isn’t just a title; it signifies a sense of belonging and community, inviting individuals to embrace their individuality. It’s more than a brand; it’s a transformative experience that champions creativity, inclusivity, and a resounding “YES” mindset towards fashion accessibility.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Crocheting has been my passion for over a decade, thanks to the wonderful lessons from my granny. It’s not just about stitches; it’s a way for me to express myself creatively.
Sky Stitched Designs is my heart and soul. It’s not just a brand; it’s a lifestyle that I’ve poured my love into. When you become a Sky Stitched Doll, you’re not just embracing a title; you’re joining a community that values professionalism, uniqueness, sexiness, sweetness, and a resounding “YES” to fashion accessibility!
Crocheting, for me, is more than just creating pieces; it’s a personal journey. I design each piece with the hope that others can look and feel their absolute best in them. It’s about expressing individuality and making a statement through handmade, high-quality crochet products.
On a more personal note, my granny, who taught me this beautiful craft, passed away in 2018 while I was in London. It was tough not being able to say goodbye in person due to financial constraints, but crochet has become my way of honoring her memory. Every piece I create carries a piece of her legacy, making Sky Stitched Designs more than just a brand—it’s a heartfelt tribute.
