Meet Brandon Stephens | Junk Removal Business owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Stephens and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I come from a family of entrepreneurs so its always been my dream to follow in their footsteps in work for myself and support my family.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from most junk removal companies is that I come from a farming and composting background. I originally started by doing free recycling pickups and I quickly realized I could help more people, recycle more metal and compost more organics by doing junk removal. As a new parent I want to be a part of the solution that makes my community a nice clean place to live for future generations. I’m from here I grew up here and I want my family to benefit from how I have cleaned up the community.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For breakfast we’d hit the metro dinner on rockbridge rd. To stay energized we’d then hit gilly brew bar in stone mtn for iced lattes. For lunch we’d go to skips Chicago dogs in Decatur and For dinner we’d hit the deer and the dove in downtown Decatur. Maybe catch a movie at the new AMC on memorial drive.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife and mom have been extremely supportive being patient with me as I grow this business. Other family members and friends have been supportive both in hiring me for jobs and spreading the word about the 5 star service I provide.
