We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Luther and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
For so many years, I was giving my creative talent away to companies to use and reap the rewards from it. In 2016, I decided to start using my creativity for my own reward.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
After many years working as a Creative Director with world renowned agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, Grey Global and others, I left the corporate world in search of a true happiness. So, in the winter of 2016, I leapt with my faith to find that very happiness I’d been searching for. I found it the day I first locked eyes with a Thoroughbred named “Starzie” who is lineage of ole “Big Red” himself, “Secretariat”.

Each one-of-a-kind piece is made by hand using a mixed-media process unique only to me. My work can be found in private collections across the country, as well as many galleries and boutiques nationwide. My work can be curated from my exclusive collection or commissioned privately to create a very personal piece of fine art.

A WORD FROM THE ARTIST

“I have always carried a soft spot in my heart for animals. Their intuition is much stronger than we give them credit for. They possess heightened senses for Family, safety and can detect a friend or foe quicker than we as humans ever will. I can’t explain how or why but, I somehow connect with these beautiful, majestic creatures on a spiritual level. I don’t question it. I just accept it and embrace it.”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many cool neighborhoods to check out all over Atlanta. Ponce City Market, Little 5 Points, Virginia Highlands and the list goes on.
