We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Jordan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, what is the most important factor behind your success?
One of the main important factors behind my success is offering superior customer service, being attentive to my clients and their needs, and ensuring the client is satisfied with their services. As a stylist, we are responsible to ensure our clients look their best for all of their special events and celebrations. I also serve as motivational coaches to my clients because when you look good, it helps to bring out the best image of yourself.

Confidence helps to build character, boost self-esteem, and propel people to the next step in their life. It is my absolute pleasure to help my clients reach their full potential through their wardrobe and overall appearance. Communication is key to a successful business, so I make sure my clients can reach me through various channels. If a client has questions or concerns about a service or process, I make sure I contact them to answer their questions promptly.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am passionate about styling people because it is my true passion. I have had a love for fashion, style, and trends since high school. My level of expertise, tenure in the fashion industry, and business strategies sets me apart from other businesses. I have a high level of creativity that I get to expose to the public throughout my client’s appearance and projects. You not only pay for a service with me, but you also pay for my creativity, customer service, and tenacity to get the job done.

I am most proud of my client’s feedback when I work with them. I love to hear their stories and see all of the feedback from their peers about their looks.

I got where I am today through my tenacity to remain grounded to my gifts, committed to my brand, and open to new ideas and business strategies. As a business owner, you must be able to adapt to different climates, stay relevant, and push through the ups and downs of the industry. It was not an easy journey for me, but I learned to stay the course of my path and never give up. You will go through good and bad seasons with business, but if you remain focused, you can always weather any challenges that come your way.

I want to the world to know that my brand is constantly evolving and growing to be one of the best styling companies. My clientele has grown a lot over the years and my regular clients keep me busy. I have the honor of styling clients for some of their most special events from weddings, birthday parties, photoshoots, and everyday life. “Styled by Guru” has been in business for 8 years and counting and we ain’t going no where!

I want to dedicate the success of my business to all of my employees whom have worked with me over the years. My assistant stylists are vital to my business with the help of assisting clients on photoshoots, special events, and weddings. My preferred vendor list of hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers, and videographers have helped propel my business to the next level. I work with an amazing team of vendors who are professional, exceptional at their crafts, and offer high quality services to my clients. I could not have reached the level of success without my vendors.

Last, but definitely not least, I want to thank all of my clients and individuals who have referred my services to their friends and family. I would be nothing without my loyal clients who support my business and continue to work with me over the years. No one made it to the top alone, so I make sure I cultivate new relationships with every person I meet throughout my journey.
