Meet Brandi Swift | Parent Engagement

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandi Swift and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was simply to become for others who I needed for myself. Being a mother, single or not lacking support can really be challenging. I want to give support and be support for all mother’s.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am really genuinely most proud about being able to help other mother’s . It has been a blessing to provide mother’s with education, support, encouragement, etc… I’m not exactly where I want to be professionally yet, I think is always opportunity to learn and advance. It has not been an easy road but it has been worth it all. I have had small and big achievements and I pray for many more along the way. Being a single mother at one point really opened my eyes to a lot of things, it was challenging to be focus on a full time career while being a full time mom but it was achievable. That is the message I want to get to other moms. It may seem tough at the moment but you can do anything you set your mind to. Your dreams can be achieved. Being a mother does not mean put your life on hold to raise your beautiful humans. Mother Hustlher is just that, a mother that hustles to get the job done. It’s a mood and a lifestyle. A mother that’s going to parent by any means necessary.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a great question because my best friend recently moved here so I have to get my list together and take her out on the town. I am into art so the North Carolina Museum of Art is definitely top on my list, it’s summer now so they will be having events coming up as well. I love food and sushi is one of my favorites, Sushi Nine is really good and affordable. Kanki would be a great place to eat sushi and hibachi. Buffalo Brothers is good for wings, appetizers and drinks. Boxcar Bar and Arcade is a cool place to hangout for drinks and arcade games. Drive Shack and Top Golf for drinks, food, games and golf. The list goes on but that’s for starters.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely my partner J, he deserves credit and recognition for being a supportive partner and helping me get to where I want to be in life. He has given me the opportunity to focus on me and my business.
