We had the good fortune of connecting with Branden Louis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Branden, what are you inspired by?
I would say the things we are inspired by is people living they’re authentic self. We live in a world where everyone tell you who you can and can not be. I love to Celebrate those who know who they are and what everything that they stand for. We open this food. truck in honor of our Grandmother Betsy Anderson. My grandmother was a very great Louisiana chef. She would make Duck, Gumbo and any other fancy animal she would fine. She advocated for to always be ourselves. She worked as a Housekeeper in New Orleans for many years. My mother also was a single mother in New Orleans and worked hard to provide, Seeing them work hard as a kid ,was all.i needed to know how make it in life. New Orleans wasn’t a easy way out. You really had to want to be somebody to make a difference and break chains. I feel like the food truck is that for us.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When I’m not working some of my spots are Black Coffee, El Bonita , Trap City Cafe. Anything outside the city Clover Land Ranch when we are thinking something adventurous. Getting pampered is always on the list So Elaine is my go-to.
