Meet Beverly mack | Event Planner & Decorator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Beverly mack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beverly, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for Rose & Pearlz Events came about in 2016 when I did my husband 42nd birthday party red carpet night in Hollywood theme party. People were coming in saying who decorated this wow how beautiful. My husband said my wife did they then asked do you have a business card my response was no it’s not a business. The husband then said it’s called Rose & Pearls Events I purchased the business license the next business day created a business page and website, and the rest is history rose is also his mother, so it’s also named after her events were her specialty.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well, my day job I am an Assistant General Manager of a hotel where I serve people and make them feel at home away from home. But Event Planning and florals arrangements is my passion. What set me apart is my love for people in general and the love and dedication I give to each client wither they are a 500.00 client or 20,000. I put the same love and spark in each event they become family and not just a client . Where I am today was definitely not easy. But I got here by believing in myself having, a great support system , setting goals and crushing them one by one. The lessons I’ve learned in this business is that people pay for what they want. Your character and your customer service skills carry you a long way and if you remain humble that your name will be brought up in rooms you never even walked in before such as this opportunity. What I learn is that what’s for you is for you and to never lower prices know your value.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So we would definitely do a harbor tour on the boat out of Mount Pleasant stay at the Charleston harbor resort and marina beautiful resort. Helicopter ride. We would eat at the finest steak house Halls Chop House, Fleet Landing for seafood on the water and Shem Creek is a must see as well. We will visit downtown area where the battery is and the Pineapple Known or Hospitality and beautiful pictures . We would visit Bonne hill Planation. The Aquarium. The escape room where you have to figure out the mystery to getting out. We would go dancing at the international ballroom dance studios.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
