We had the good fortune of connecting with Beunca Gainor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Beunca, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Me non profit helps to provide resources to not only people but their pets! Pet food, pet needs, community resources ect
What should our readers know about your business?
Working in the animal care field it is not easy is an African-American female from the inner city streets of Atlanta. A lot of times I get past it for opportunities, grants, appearances, or etc. because of the way that I speak. Some people may call me a whistleblower because I try to bring truth and justice calling out big names and raising red flags but I do what I do. I try to help those around me and to create a different platform for people like me to know that they can do the same thing and make an even bigger impact. .
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Wow that’s hard, 2 places… West side park/ Bellwood Quarry or CampCreek horse farm by Brannu. I’ma nature gal so water, wildlife and fresh air
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
