We had the good fortune of connecting with Benson Dirosier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Benson, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking to me is the succuss ingredient between the start of your journey and your destination. It was the beginning of 2016 when I decided to move from Miami, Florida to Atlanta to venture my music production career. Going into the unknown, having no relationships, and bringing a full family with me was the risk I took to obtain what I have today (My wife and I and four beautiful children).

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a creative individual and my business is called beniano beats. I’m proud of how far I’ve come in my craft and how much I have learned about the music business. I’m also excited about the investments I’ve made and how they are paying off today. What sets me apart from others is that I can play and instrument (piano) and could produce an artist. Also, I’m set apart from my investments and how much tools acquired throughout the years. I’ve came a long way not having relationships or connections but because of networking and being an asset to people, I’ve been in rooms that expanded my career professionally. Was it easy? This was not easy at all, I had encounter bad relationships and people that were jealous/envy. I overcame my challenges and still facing a few head on but having real relationships and genuine people around you changes the overall situation. The lesson I learned is that you can’t expect to get you out of other people so, you should always prepare to cover yourself legally and for business. I want the world to know that God is able and if you have the patients on working on yourself to obtain his promises then you will get exactly what you’ve put in. I want the world to know beniano beats is a musically, fresh, modern take of music for the music industry. I want to the world to know that no matter where you start or how you end up during a season of your life, it’s just a season and it’s going to go by but don’t ever quit.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
It’s crazy to say but I been so much on a grind that I don’t even head out like that, I’m a family man and I love to have fun with the wife and children. I usually try to find a hole in a wall great food spot in Atlanta, or a restaurant that was featured on a food channel. I love a good brunch spot and Atlanta is the city for this. As long as a week’s long trip, I would visit ATL Breakfast for a brunch, have a mock tale, and Atlanta has some of the best drinks. The Georgia Aquarium and Beat the bomb would be some of the things to check out. I would also take a historic tour in Atlanta, the Trap Music Museum owned by T.I and other major downtown restaurants that shaped Atlanta.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Firstly, I would like to thank God for leading and guiding me throughout my life and giving me direction, blessing me with my wife Keturah Dirosier who deserve a whole lot of credit. I would also like to credit a book called Winning: The Battle Plan for Faith by Keturah Dirosier. I also want to credit my children for the daily love and encouragement as I continue to work the dream. Shoutout to Justin Rainey, someone that work with me and inspired me to produce music.
