Hi Ben, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was driven by several factors. First, I have always enjoyed the freedom and independence that comes with working for myself. Being my own boss allows me to set my own schedule and make decisions based on my own vision and values.

Additionally, I wanted the ability to determine the level of busyness in my life. By running my own business, I have the flexibility to take on as much work as I desire, allowing me to challenge myself and stay engaged with my passion.

Moreover, I recognized that many individuals who have achieved significant wealth and success are those who have ventured into entrepreneurship and owned their own businesses. This inspired me to explore the entrepreneurial path and seize the opportunity to create financial stability and wealth for myself.

Overall, the combination of personal fulfillment, independence, and the potential for financial prosperity were the driving forces behind my decision to start my own business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Motivated by personal circumstances and a desire to break the cycle of past challenges, I embarked on the entrepreneurial path with a determination to establish a foundation for personal and professional success. The lessons learned from family experiences pushed me to take charge of my future, nurturing a strong drive to create a prosperous future and ensure that history would not repeat itself. This deep-rooted inspiration has been a catalyst in my entrepreneurial journey, fueling my passion, resilience, and unwavering commitment to building a thriving business and shaping a different trajectory for myself and future generations.

My family runs a meat company so i grew up working as a butcher. I was responsible for sharpening the company’s knives, what started as a routine task gradually evolved into a side gig during my college years. Driven by dedication and a strong work ethic, I have navigated the challenges of working and pursuing a degree. I made the decision to delve deeper into the craft and establish my own knife sharpening business.

Pro Sharp, my leading sharpening service, distinguishes itself through its unmatched speed in delivering sharpened products. With a firm commitment to excellence, Pro Sharp takes pride in offering high-quality sharpening services while maintaining the fastest turnaround time in the industry.

The journey to this point has not been without its obstacles. Overcoming challenges demanded resilience and resourcefulness. Through hard work and determination, the business weathered the storm.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had the opportunity to show my best friend the best time in Atlanta, here are some fun and exciting things I’d like to do:

– Explore Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. I love to catch a baseball game and drinks at the Battery after.

– For dinner, we would head to Virginia Highlands. We’d indulge in delicious eats like Murphy’s or Fontaine’s Oyster House.

– A visit to Piedmont Park for a morning walk with my dog Geno. I love the views of the city skyline.

– A great quick hiking spot is, Stone Mountain Park.

– Downtown Decatur, known for it’s food scene would be a great spot for dinner.

– West Midtown district, has some of my favorite restaurants like rooftop bars like Six Feet Under or The Optimist.

– Can’t forget about the diverse Buford Highway offering an array of international options.

and lastly,

– We could take a stroll on the Beltline.
