We had the good fortune of connecting with Badass Tran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Badass, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
At this point if you know where your heading and have a goal in achieving something. You should never give up until that goal is finished.
When everyone tells you to give up and you end up doing it you lose.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Today I wouldn’t say I made it professionally and it’s still not easy. I still have to harness my craft and perfect it.
It’s not stressful because this is what I love to do and I feel I was meant to do this.
There’s no wrong or right answer in being an artist I think that’s the beauty of overcoming people’s perspective.
I’ve learned that not everyone’s going to like my music, but they can’t stop me from doing it.
What the world should know about me is that I actually am homeless, broke, bald, fat, and ugly. LMAO
I’m going to prove that having nothing.
I will turn it to something.
that something is Big.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to all the San Jose spots in California. People from San Jose knows the spots.
We have plenty.
Whatever you want we have.
I would definitely check out Communication hills, Sierra rd , Fowler park for city lights or city view.
If your into haunted stuff it would be deep San Felipe Rd, corner house on Senter Rd, and the asylum around north side San Jose.
I heard 70 people died there due to an earthquake.
Well enjoy my city there’s tons to do here. 🙂

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yeah I’d like to shoutout to my big bro but I have to keep him anonymous. Shout out to Dale Keano with the visuals.
Music producers with the instrumentals.
My friends with the support.
My enemy with the hatred and energy.
And especially shoutout to VoyageATL for doing my first article ever and discovering me I won’t disappoint y’all.
