Hi Ayanah, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency. I have been doing makeup for 5 years now and when I started, there were times when I was like I can’t do this but kept pushing forward. Consistency helped me stay dedicated to my brand and to the goals I have for my brand. It also helped me build trust with my clients and ensure I provide them with the best service they have ever received. I learned along the way to keep going and believe in yourself. I also learned that there is only one you so the way you do things is going to always be different than someone so never compare yourself to someone else.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the owner of The Royal Eye where I provide beauty services to enhance the natural beauty of my clients. I love being able to help women enhance their natural beauty to look absolutely amazing while building their confidence and giving them beauty tips. We specialize in a wide range of luxurious, personalized beauty services including makeup, eyelash extensions, and waxing. We also travel to clients to service their beauty needs.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is a nice city to visit and there is so much to do. I haven’t been here too long so I’m still experiencing the city myself but If I had a friend of mine visit I would definitely take them to the Illuminairum, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and Top Golf. We would also do a Sip and Paint or picnic in the park. Some places to definitely hang out and grab a drink are Suite Food Lounge or The Hive. You can do some shopping at Cumberland Mall or Perimeter Mall.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Someone who deserves all the credit is my amazing son, Egypt! He is the one that keeps a smile on my face and motivates me to push forward. His love is just unconditional and pure. Being a single mom in school with a full-time job and business is hard but my son makes it all worth it. He always gives the biggest hugs and kisses, especially if he senses you aren’t having a good day. He is my entire world and I want to provide him with the brightest future I can. I want him to see that you can follow your dreams and achieve anything and everything you want in life. I also want him to learn that no matter how hard it gets always believe in yourself and never doubt yourself.
