We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Sha’Phon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I knew I didn’t want to work for anyone anymore and that I wanted to build something that I knew I could guarantee will always be there, which is my gift of Makeup Artistry and bringing joy to others through comedy. Unlike, a job which is only temporary, our gift is ours forever, its just up to us to use them and allow them to make room for us. I believe in creating a legacy for my 3 kings and I.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a makeup artist, better known as a beauty enhancer that enjoy enhancing the beauty in which, you already carry. The face to me is really a canvas and I just simply paint. Also, I’m a comedic actress that loves to entertain others through comedy. Rather its through film, stage, comedy sketches or just in rare form I’m your comedic relief lol. What I can share with our community is self care services that not only make you look beautiful on the outside but make you feel even more beautiful on the inside. My gift is to bring joy to others rather its through makeup or making you laugh through entertainment. Let me be of service to you😊

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is honestly a challenging question because I don’t know alot of good spots to hang. I just go places I’m invited to but I’m not the one that makes the plans im the one that goes with the plans lol. Some good restaurants for brunch that I’ve been to though, were Copelands, Boogaloo, old lady gang. If you love seafood Juicy crawfish has the best! There’s tons of things to do in Atlanta like go to the Ga Aquarium, culture experience, or thr trap museum. Eventbrite is also a good tool to find a day party or event of your liking.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Its so many amazing people I can name that have helped me along my journey but its too many to name. I’ve been blessed by the best, nonetheless! I love and appreciate each and everyone that contributed to my journey. Especially, my mom who’ve been my biggest supporter in everything that I wanted to do. She believes in me when I find it hard to believe in myself. She allows me to fly and when I fall she never let’s me hit my head. Thank you mommy for always believing in me, pushing me to be the best version of myself and for ALL of your sacrifices you’ve made & still making for me trust me it doesn’t go unnoticed. You have taught me alot of things and the one thing you taught me that I value most is the lesson on unconditional Love. You are the true definition of unconditional love and you have taught me through your acts of service how to do everything out of love. Thank you!
