We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashley, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I really enjoyed the feeling of uplifting and empowering others through the spiritual and holistic services I provided. It made me feel happy and fulfilled to provide clarity and spiritual guidance to those that received card readings from me as well as energy healing sessions. I then started to invest more time into studying via books and taking courses to better my craft. Once I noticed that I really wanted to dive deeper into this world to perform better for the friends that came to me with questions, I realized that I wanted to pursue this as a career. I wanted to devote as much time as I could to keep empowering other people through my spiritual gifts!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am fascinated with the divine feminine wisdom and how we can better integrate that into our daily lives and our society to live in harmony and balance. I have had a lot of internal struggles with different areas of my life such as purpose, finances, career, sensuality, joy, and happiness, and through understanding the divine feminine I have been able to heal in the most loving way. I am really excited about helping others connect with this energy of creation, receptivity, and unconditional love in order to live a much better quality of life. It definitely wasn’t easy to get to where I am now. I have gone through unemployment, lack of support from others, generational traumas growing up in a Latino household, being a minority as a Latina, and much more that may be too much to get into in this interview, but through accepting the hardships of my situation, practicing gratitude, connecting with my body and honoring it, I was able to find ways to cope during the hard times and stay hopeful for a better future. I have lived a lucky life where I always receive help just when I can’t hold on any longer. The advice I would have for anyone that is after living their dream is to not give up. We may have detours and hard realizations, but everything is a part of our path to give us the tools we need to truly hold our greatest dreams.
I am also a believer that being in your truth is being in your power. The only way we are able to be in our truth is when we accept the qualities that we love about ourselves as well as the parts that are wounded. Through these wounds is where the Light and Love of the universe seeps into our souls. I am here to support you on this path and hold space for you as you get in alignment with your truth and your highest self.
I’m looking forward to my workshops regarding healing the energetic womb, card reading 101, and spirituality 101!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For a weekend filled with fun in my area, Celery City in Downtown Sanford is always a nice spot with chill vibes! They have a great outdoor patio where you can sit under beautiful hanging lights and listen to live music. For food in Sanford, the Hollerbach’s German Restaurant always hits the spot!
I also love kareoke so Aloha Beautiful in Downtown Orlando is a place I never pass up! They always have great people coming in and having the most fun of their night!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to recognize my great grandmothers who walked this spiritual path in silence which then got passed down to me. I also want to give many thanks to the Sacred Woman School with Mali, Melissa Crowhurst with her teachings for Reiki and Chakra Energy Healing, Christine Gutierrez for her book I Am Diosa and her Women’s Circle Facilitator course alongside Beatriz Bonnin.
