We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Kinzer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Fun fact about me; The entrepreneur route was not my first choice at first. I was actually going to school finishing up my undergrad where I would have then gone on to start chiropractic school. I was falling under the society normal of you had to go to school and get a “real” job to be successful. However, halfway through finishing up my undergrad, I started to realize that school was not for me and that I couldnt see myself graduating chiropractic school and going to work for someone else for the next 40+ years. I couldnt even see myself having my own practice where I had to go into work somewhere everyday. I was craving that flexibilty to work from home and be on my own time, as well as be able to stay home with my future kids. Besides chiropractic, my other passion was social media and content creation. I really got more into social media when I started my network marketing business back in 2020 and I did that for a couple of years. At that point, I knew that I wanted to help other businesses with their social media and so that’s when I started Elle est Social, my social media marketing business. Flash forward to today, I have been in business for a little over a year and I am currently pregnant with my first baby! Knowing that I have the flexibility to stay at home with my kids and have the flexibilty to still work and help small businesses elevate their social media and personal brands is something I am so grateful for. My goal is to help other small business owners who also have families of their own, take the stress off of their social media so that they can get back to doing what they are passionate about and also allow them to have that family time.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is Elle est Social and I offer social media marketing services for small businesses looking to elevate their social media and build a personal brand. The services I offer include monthly social media management, content creation, wedding content creation, and social media strategies. Something that I think sets Elle est Social apart is that I am not going to give you a social media strategy thats full of fluff or that just follows the trends. I really put my focus into helping you create a personal brand and a community for your business that sets you apart from your competition. When I first started my business, I really struggled with imposter syndrome, even though I knew what I was doing. Flash forward to today, I definitely feel so much more confident in what I can bring to the table to help other business. Don’t get me wrong, I still have those days where I may not believe in myself, but we are all human and we all struggle with that from time to time. How do I overcome that? I am constantly pouring into myself and my business and continuing to learn new things everyday so that I can better serve my clients. My best advice to you for whatever you do in life or in business is do not give up. Continue to learn and grow along the way and surrond yourself with people who support and believe in you.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite spots in the city to take friends or family whos visiting is Ponce City Market. I love how there’s places to shop, eat, and I love the rooftop! If someone has never been to Atlanta before, I think the Aquariam and the Coca Cola Museum is worth checking out at least once in your life. As far as a good restaurant to go to, I would take them to Mary Mac’s. I am personally not a huge fan of southern food but Mary Mac’s is definelty worth going to.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband has always been my biggest supporter in my business. He is always pushing me to do my best and is the one who really encouraged me to take that leap of faith and just start. To this day, he continues to support me and always tells me how proud he is of me.
