Meet Ashley Ball | Personal Stylist & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Ball and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, how has your work-life balance changed over time?

I am a very busy woman these days, so balance is a must . Not only am I a personal stylist & creative director I’m also a licensed health insurance agent. I work three jobs at once everyday. I can sell an insurance plan , run my styling instagram page and put together an entire look for a client all at the same time but as soon as I get off I’m in Mommie mode. It only becomes a problem for me when trying to balance work & being a mom and I’m pretty sure a lot of mompreneurs go through that , I make sure I cut out as much time as possible for my son. Overtime because it’s so repetitive now, I have found that balance in my life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Well, I am a Personal Stylist and Creative Director with a unique eye for detail and fashion. I got to where I am today because of my drive and hustle , anyone that knows me personally can tell you I have always been a natural born Hustler. I’m most proud to have those titles because I know the personal growth it took to get to this point but also anyone reading this just know nothing great comes easy. I overcame a lot of challenges by just letting things play out . Some things are just out of your control and once you learn that everything will flow much smoother. I learn something new every day being in this profession , one thing that I have always stood on & learned is my prices are my prices , my price and my talent those two go hand-in-hand & I will never sell myself short. I see a lot of stylist do that maybe because the fear of losing their clients if they realize their worth. I knew mine from the jump and some people respect it , then again I’m not for everyone but I also want the world to know I have arrived and I’m coming for everything with my name on it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Most definitely My son & My Man ! Those two motivate me everyday to keep going and always look at the bigger picture . I go so hard everyday for my family . I don’t have any mentorship groups, organizations etc everything I know today & situations I have went through mainly comes from trial & error , me getting to know myself on a deeper level and also wanting to know more about Styling so I want to shout myself out for bringing a vision/dream to life and shout out to all my supporters.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
