We had the good fortune of connecting with Armani Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Armani, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor of my success; Is the people that surround and support me. They build me up, They give me energy when I don’t have any. They give me motivation when I’m looking for it. Help me with evolving new ideas.

My team @ LoveGrooves Productions, Cid Santiago, Shaquena Horace, The 1st Lady Danay, John, Lylah, they are the key to my business’s success, My determination for a successful brand is a big factor in my determination, to get out to the people.

I know that is what makes a successful brand the determination of the person that is pushing it. To get it out to the people.

That is a big part of the success of my brand, My determination to get it out to the people.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been in Comedy for 5 years, 3 years producing my own shows. I don’t have a set list of jokes (right before). I’m in the moment a lot, I do not maliciously call anybody out on stage, I don’t do too much roasting, I like to spontaneously say what’s in my mind instead of trying to key point into the crowd, When I do my comedy. I have the same amount of jokes but I always use them in different ways. A lot of people get stuck to a routine, pander to the crowd or key in on an audience member to get their laughs across. Me, I do whatever I feel and whatever the crowd feels.

I am proud of being able to go from state to state, touching different people with laughter. Knowing I did not have to sell myself cheap for my laughs.

To actually have a little bit of credibility even though I’m very ignorant, I try to say some impactful things. Im Proud I did not have to sell myself short in life. I wanted more than to just be a kid from Grand Rapids, MI thinking about doing greater things. I am most proud God blessed me with the strength to follow through and manifest my future.

I’m excited about the future, I’m being booked in different states and excited to see these different audiences. I look forward to getting improving with time, excited to see the horizon.

My Team is very small but we get a lot of things done. The proper networking connections got me to where I am professionally. Being able to pick the minds of people in different tax brackets. (Billionaires, people that like to wear Russell Wilson Jerseys).

My education in communications and human behavior and life experience has definitely placed me where I am today professionally. It was not easy. I have had to overcome many challenges of being one of the few black people in the PNW trying to prompt primary black comedy shows. I have to make things approachable and make my product undeniable for the masses to reach and touch.

In the PNW not many Black professionals get a chance to do the things that I have done In such a short period of time. The lessons I have learned is to; Be patient! Sometimes I do not have to move so fast but that’s my story to overcome.

I want the world to know LoveGrooves is all about love and Grooves. Love is laughter and laughter is love, If you are laughing you are in love with your life that means you feel the emotion of live. Groove gets you through music is always in your heart it’s always in your soul, if you know what music does for people that are able to appreciate music it builds character. It builds a certain type of person to know, That Music can soothe the soul and it can harm it. But at the same time a groove is always soothing.

So my company is love groove and thats what im trying to give is the laugh and the soothing and healing of entertainment

I want the world to know that there is no Stupidity no Buffoonery or Coonery with LoveGooves it’s always good laughs, good times, good music and good vibes.

The world will know that a boy from Grand Rapids went from state to state and took every opportunity to be a better person, The Best Entertainer, The businessman and ,most importantly, a better Father.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The first stop on a Seattle weekend getaway would most definitely have to began at The iconic Space Needle then the Pike Place market for the in the flying fish show. The best restaurant would have to be the Blu Water Bistro the freshest seafood wonderful water views and the best dinner atmosphere in Seattle. And finally a bonfire on Alki beach overlooking the Seattle skyline would definitely round up a wonderful weekend getaway in Seattle
