Hi Arlynd “Big Homie Doe”, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As an artist I think deciding to become an independent label gave me the first thought of looking at myself as a business. Meaning I had to look at what I was spending most of my budget on things such as (Studio time, production, music videos, and Show bookings) and I went out and supplied it all to my self purchasing a studio purchasing a camera purchasing a beat machine and taking the time to learn how the promotion game works. I started to see that immediately I would get revenue as opposed to being just a artist I wasn’t seeing the revenue as quickly

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think one of the things that set me apart from others is my passion n my competitive spirit to win at whatever I Do. If I rap I wanna be the best rapper if I Throw events I want to be the best if I shoot videos I want to be the best management n so forth. Getting to where I am today I think could be best described as perseverance. Starting as an artist to becoming a CEO of Several Entertainment entities was definitely not an easy thing to do! It took years of failure to achieve the success! But by never giving up n staying hell bent on what I wanted to become or still want to be have me the courage to continue when everyone thinks I should quit! Lessons that I learned was to always Believe in yourself never be afraid to fail and always be afraid of not trying! If you at least try u won’t live with the regret of not trying! I want the world to know that I came from nowhere to be someone somewhere which I think is basic human nature n wants in life!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since this happens quiet often to me I would play it like… Eating at my favorite spot Wings from Unwyne Cafe
Trip to the king monuments
A visit to the trap museum
Riding thru the different neighborhoods of famous stars.
Riding thru Buckhead residential areas
Shopping at Lenox
A game at Hawks falcons or braves
A night club experience
A strip club
Stone Mountain
Definitely on of my events

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Number 1 would be God with him Al things are possible. My partner n number 1 supporter Damien “Danny Oceans” Dougherty My moms & pops Angela Edwards and Mark Davis and My Brother Marcus Turtle Edwards and Most definitely My entire hometown city of Joliet IL This is pretty much my foundation and I give them this special shoutout
