Hi Antoinette Davis, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe the only way to accomplish what you are supposed to do in life is to not be afraid and take a risk. Risks has played a big role in my life and career! In my life I married at age 23 and 21 years later I am still with my wonderful husband. That was a risk for two young people to take. In my business I started baking by faith not knowing how to bake at all. That was a risk, now people are buying my baked goods and loving them week after week.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is Sugar Muffins Bake Shop. Located In Marietta Ga. I bake all things good! I make all desserts and treats from gluten-free, dairy free, vegan, low glycemic, keto and regular. I bake cheesecakes, pies, cobblers, cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and our famous “CUPCAKES IN A JAR”! What sets us apart is our customer service and the fact that we bake everything from scratch and fresh! I am most excited about our customers! We have the best customer’s in the world. They support our small business and they continue to come back every week! Thank you! It wasn’t easy getting here but I kept going even when it didn’t look good most days! I really wanted to quit! But I kept the faith in God and kept moving forward and this is what has helped me along the way. I would love the world to know, you can believe for a thing but you have to put in the necessary work to make it happen! Yes it’s going to be hard but it’s so worth it in the end! Keep going! Your almost there.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would first take them to Centennial Park! This is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta! We will then have lunch At Rays on The River! This restaurant has the perfect location and the view of the Chattahoochee River is amazing! I absolutely love Botanical Gardens and a stroll around Piedmont Park is really great. I would take them to the Marietta Square Farmers Market, where I sell my delicious desserts and shopping with the locals for fresh and organic foods is absolutely great!
