We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Jarrard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
After a successful career as an Executive for a prominent nonprofit organization in Dallas, TX I felt the need to start a company that assisted inner city nonprofit organization in the forms of Money, Manpower, Membership, and Program.

I received 2 awards from the Southern Region for having consecutive membership growth year after year, and I was ranked in the top 5 based on money raised through targeted annual fundraising.

I even had a speaking engagement with Former Congressman Pete Sessions accompanied with my fundraising chairman a VP of Wealth Management for Merrill Lynch.

I realized it was fun, easy, and i was really good at it.

So why not help the legit one man/gal bands.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started my nonprofit consulting company out of instinct and encouragement

I recruited 2 former executives to also come on board. They are currently in Dallas TX and they were a huge motivation as well.

It’s bigger than me because we have so much life to give inner city nonprofit organizations.

It definitely hasn’t been easy but being persistent everyday has made a huge difference..

But the challenges are overcome with good.
Most recently I taught Environmental Science at Morehouse College. Opportunities come to those who are prepared.

The biggest thing I’ve learned in the world of nonprofit organizations is that you should never rob someone the ability to make a decision.

We empower nonprofit organizations in the forms of Money, Manpower, Membership, Program, Job Resources, and Environmental Sustainability.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I moved to Georgia from Texas last December so I am still learning lol!

I like the Escobar, Barney’s, and Milk & Honey.. There is always a good breakfast to choose from within city limits.

Mainly anything revolving around creativity.

Museums, Art, Nature, Fundraising events and of course Pinot Grigio.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to Thank my committee(s)that I worked with in the community of Highland Park, TX.

They know who they are and I will be sure they see this.

I thank God for them.

I learned the “art of the approach”

Understanding how to engage potential donors and those that support nonprofit organizations.
