Meet Annysa LaMantia | Luxury Interior Designer & Product Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Annysa LaMantia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Annysa, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Being authentic is the best gift you can give yourself and others. When you come from a place of authenticity you not only represent yourself in the purest form possible, but you let others know it’s okay to be who they truly are as well. It’s in that space that ideas flow more freely and innovative collaborations naturally present themselves. I find the most successful outcomes arise from authentic environments.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My design company, Annysa LaMantia, is a luxury residential and commercial design firm based in Atlanta, Ga. We are also product designers and have recently launched a natural stone capsule collection for the made-to-order luxury home furnishing group DAVANI.
My company is multifaceted in that we work not only in the luxury space, but also partner on community-based initiatives. We recently partnered with Goodr and hip hop artist Gunna, designing the first ever free grocery store inside of his former middle school, Ronald McNair, in Atlanta, Ga. What I understand about space is that it has a direct impact on quality of life. That is true in any arena. Feeling that you are supported in a space which is safe, aesthetically pleasing, functional, welcoming, etc. can impact our lives in profound ways. My team and I really enjoy being a part of facilitating environments which enhance quality of life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
ATL is full of hidden gems, I love exploring the city, it never gets old. When I have company in town my go-to’s are creative activities and the outdoors. I’m an ITP type- my favorite breakfast spots are Sun in my Belly, Thumbs up, Ria’s and Le Petit Marche. On the activities front- I love renting bikes from ATL bike barn and hitting the belt line, stopping in at Ponce City Market to get boozy slushy’s from Botiwalla and then cruising around to look at the street art on Wylie street murals. One of my other favorite activities is the Splatter Studio,– they give you paint guns and a canvas and the rest is up to you! As a designer, environment is key for me, so with restaurants (and we have so many good ones in ATL) I like to go to places with lots of character- Rock Steady, Apt 4B, Eclipse Di Luna, Garden Room, Rumi’s etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to shoutout the city of Atlanta as a whole. This city is so dimensionally dope. The culture developed and curated here is like no other place on earth. The small businesses that make up the fabric of the city play a large part in that. I am good friends with so may entrepreneurs and creatives that collectively have set the tone for an ecosystem that stretches far and wide across the country and beyond. The events that occur here on a daily basis are truly history in the making. I love you Atlanta! Together we are beautiful and wonderful.
