We had the good fortune of connecting with Angeli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angeli, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Honestly success to me means being able to help the people who helped you in every way. Being successful means you can buy your mama whatever she wants. Being successful also means that I’ve experienced Life lessons and fought through it , never letting it take me down.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So my art form would be modeling. Honestly when I first started two years ago I got a lot of slack from the industry people, telling me that I would never make it far , I would not go anywhere and basically just telling me that I don’t have what it takes. It was definitely not easy to hear those things especially from people who you expected to help you. I overcame those challenges honestly by making my own moves and networking with positive people who didn’t bring me down. I’ve learned along the way to definitely take people for what they show you and not for what they tell you . I am my own brand, yes I have a clothing brand, I do make up too and of course so much more things but me myself, ANGELI is the brand. I constantly work on me , my personal brand so that it can translate  positively into my other areas of business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit my area which is The west side of Atlanta, I will definitely take her to Cascade skating rink first because it’s a staple here in Atlanta. Secondly I’ll take her to JJ‘s of course because you have to get the fried chicken like they don’t go wrong. Honestly I’m not big of a Club goer but I do know people who promote clubs so I’d probably take her to Club Monaco. As far as her meeting people I may take her to meet my friend who is a stylist , his name is Fresh. He’s styled a lot of big people like Chris Brown, Capella Grey, Tyga , Torey Lanez and many more

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shout out article to my mother and my sister for always being my ground & for constantly showing me love . I want to shoutout BuiltByJBstudios for bringing opportunities to me and providing a space for me to flourish . I want to shoutout a couple of my favorite photographers , Gio , Tre & China .
