We had the good fortune of connecting with Anesha Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anesha, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
The habit of consistency, being consistent when it’s hard, when you’re tired and overwhelmed, when you want to give up but you continue to go forward. The habit of being consistent when you don’t want to show up because you’re not feeling well or you feel like you have tried everything and you have ran out of ideas or when you don’t have the help that you need at the specific moment in time. The habit of being consistent when you’re out of funds and feel helpless. The habit of being consistent when you are the only investor but you know you have to make ends meet. The habit of being consistent even though you’re completely ready to throw in the towel and walk away from everything. This habit of consistency is continuously pushing me to spring forward and progress successfully as a person and also a an entrepreneur.

con·sist·ent: acting or done in the same way over time.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a certified medical assistant and entrepreneur. I’ve been a medical assistant for 8 years now . I have good days and bad days but I’m rewarded by knowing that I’m able to help others. I’m given a test and lesson everyday. I wouldn’t give it up because of the impact and imprint that is left behind after I’ve encounter some of these patients. I have bitter sweet moments but it was definitely a calling for me to enter the medical field. It takes patience but it also gives me so much hope and joy. Sometimes I cry, smile and laugh after the visits but I’m glad that I was able to experience every moment of it. I’ve been a entrepreneur for 3 years now and it’s a journey everyday. It’s also rewarding being able to create my own content, create different brands and products for my business. I also enjoy meeting new people and hearing and learning from their experiences. It gives me so much joy knowing that I’m breaking generational curses and pushing out things that others were not given a opportunity to do. The journey is never easy but as I stated before the habit of consistency lead me to be here where I am today, the habit of not giving up and believing in myself even when the vision was not clear or precise. My brand and my story is a huge part of my life. It’s the my ideal of existence and the legacy that’ll I pass down on for my future generations. It’s encouragement to let other know if I can do it you can do it as well.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My first recognition is my creator, it wouldn’t even be possible for me to do all of the things that I’m capable of doing. I was gifted abilities to possibly change the world and the people that are surrounding me. My story is not just about people that I personally know it’s about all the encounters that I have encountered with every person that I have met. I have been able to gain something from every encounter and it’s all considered an investment into my mind, relationships and my business. My parents are always my biggest supporters as well. They gave me free range as a child and they let me flourish and prosper and be who I wanted to be. They have always made my dreams into reality and now I’m following the same footsteps.
