We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew J. Bullard IV and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrew J., have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
It all depends on what you’re trying to accomplish and how much that matters to you. After the 2nd day of filming my last film Access Control I was exhausted and felt like we were way behind. I wanted to quit and tell everyone not to come back. My wife told me that we were doing really good and we should keep going. After she said this I thought about why I do what I do. I reminded myself that I’m trying to shine a light in a dark world and give people uplifting and inspirational content. I decided to keep going and we completed the film and it ended up being a great success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I specialize in Christian Entertainment specifically film & music. I’ve been doing music for about 15 years and film for about 5 years. Being a creative always gives me something to look forward to, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Balance is very important as well as remembering why I do what I do. I’ve learned you have to be willing to do it alone and not make excuses. I want people to know that I bring excellent inspirational content to the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love to eat! Can someone say wings?! I live in Chattanooga, TN and one of my favorite spots to eat is Mexi-Wings they have the best Mexican food and wings. But there’s plenty of outdoorsy stuff to do in Chattanooga so we’d have to get into some of that and I love to have a good game night. But if I’m spending time with friends our company is more than enough.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout Joshua Jackson aka YJO! He’s a great music producer, rapper, and most importantly a great friend. He’s always encouraging and motivating me to keep going. I’m also working with him on music for this film that I’m working on called The Solution.
