Meet Andrew Glass | Founder & CEO of Non Gender Specific

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Glass and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrew, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Non Gender Specific is a revolutionary skincare brand that defies conventional norms and embraces the concept of inclusivity and sustainability. I really wanted to create a brand that broke the segregation I was seeing within the beauty space, and offer products that anyone could buy without feeling uncomfortable or out of place.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Non Gender Specific offers a range of botanical-rich skincare formulas meticulously crafted to cater to all skin types and identities. At the heart of Non Gender Specific is a commitment to harnessing the power of nature. Each product is carefully formulated with a blend of plant-based ingredients, ensuring that your skin receives the nourishment it deserves. From soothing botanical extracts to potent antioxidants, every ingredient is handpicked for its ability to enhance and maintain the health and radiance of your skin. We got to where we are today by following our instinct and our vision for what beauty is. It has not been easy at all. We’ve had every reason to give up, but I always believed in Non Gender Specific, even when others didn’t.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh this is a good question! I don’t like the traditional tourist destinations. When I have friends visit I love taking them up to one of our quaint mountain towns like Dahlonega or Blue Ridge. For drinks I’d take them to 1920 Tavern in Roswell because they make the best Lychee martinis! For dinner I’d have to say Prime 120 in Woodstock – they have a great selection of cocktails, a killer charcuterie board, and of course an amazing selection of entrees. For one of the days we would drive up North to visit Blue Ridge, Dahlonega and Monteluce Winery.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wouldn’t say that there is anyone specific to include, but without the support from my family I would never be able to accomplish the things I have. They’ve always given unlimited support and believed in me, even when my ideas seemed crazy and unattainable!
