Hi Anastasiia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

Starting my own business was a natural progression for me, rooted in my passion for flowers and the joy they bring. As a flower preservation artist, I saw an opportunity to not only indulge in what I love but also to share that love with others in a meaningful way. I wanted to create a space where I could blend my creativity with the happiness of my clients, immortalizing the beauty of flowers in timeless pieces that bring joy and nostalgia. It’s fulfilling to know that I’m not only pursuing my passion but also spreading happiness and preserving memories for others.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My journey as a flower preservation artist has been a labor of love, marked by dedication, exploration, and perseverance. What sets me apart is not only my passion for flowers but also my commitment to continuously learning and experimenting with different techniques. Four years ago, I delved into the world of resin, immersing myself in practice and exploration to refine my craft.

The challenges I faced, particularly when starting to sell my art in a new country, were significant. Moving to the USA meant navigating unfamiliar territory, both linguistically and culturally. Marketing my work and connecting with potential clients seemed daunting at first, especially with limited English proficiency. However, I refused to let these obstacles deter me.

I embraced social media as a tool for sharing my creations. Starting with Instagram, and TikTok I showcased my pieces, gradually building a following. Launching a page on Etsy and later my own website expanded my reach even further.

The turning point came when a friend entrusted me with preserving her wedding bouquet. It was a pivotal moment that inspired me to venture into flower preservation, realizing the beauty and significance of capturing life’s precious moments in timeless pieces.

My journey has been filled with ups and downs, but I’m proud that I never gave up. Each challenge became an opportunity for growth, teaching me resilience and determination. I’ve learned the importance of embracing new experiences, seeking support from loved ones, and staying true to my passion.

What I want the world to know about my brand and story is that it’s rooted in love, creativity, and perseverance. Every piece I create is infused with passion and care, preserving not just flowers, but memories and emotions. My journey is a testament to the power of resilience and following one’s passion against all odds.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d start by exploring neighborhoods like Inman Park and Virginia-Highland on Day 1 for their local charm and dining options, with dinner at Ponce City Market for its trendy atmosphere.

On Day 2, a visit to the Atlanta History Center offers insight into the city’s past, followed by lunch at Sweet Auburn Curb Market for diverse cuisines.

For Day 3, we’d enjoy outdoor adventure at Stone Mountain Park and dine in Decatur Square for its cozy ambiance.

Day 4 would feature a food tour of Buford Highway, followed by dinner at a top-rated restaurant for gourmet dining.

Exploring the Atlanta BeltLine on Day 5 provides art and green spaces, with dinner at Ponce City Market for its lively food hall.

Day 6 offers a day trip to Chattahoochee National Forest for outdoor activities, followed by a relaxed dinner at a barbecue joint.

Finally, on Day 7, we’d visit the Georgia Aquarium and end with dinner at The Varsity for a classic American meal.

Absolutely! I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to my husband and parents for their unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in my journey. My husband, with his invaluable assistance in organization and the physical aspects of the process, has been a pillar of strength, enabling me to pursue your passion with ease and efficiency. And my parents, from the very beginning, believed in my talent and dreams, providing the foundation of support and encouragement that has propelled me forward. Their love, guidance, and belief in me have undoubtedly played a significant role in my success, and they deserve every bit of credit and recognition my your story.
