We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Being myself and not being afraid. I show up authentically and encourage my clients to do the same. We spend so much of our lives working in environments where we are afraid to show up as ourselves with confidence and the last thing we should do is bring that same mentality to our business and brand.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve talked about owning my own branding + marketing business for years, but to be honest, it was just a dream. I honestly had no idea if it would ever happen, but as I am living it, I know this is where God intended for me to be. I was always interested in human psychology and graphic design but never knew if I could make a living from it. So, I spent years working jobs that I hated. I spent years coming home and complaining about work. I settled for jobs that had absolutely nothing to do with my aspirations as a branding + marketing professional. I spent years venting to my friends about not being able to be myself in the workplace. Until, finally, I had enough. I started to write down the vision of what my business would look like in a notebook in my spare time — I still have this notebook, by the way. Fast forward, I started a job at a large real estate company as their marketing admin. By this time, I knew that marketing was where my heart + passion lied. I loved what I did but there was still something missing. I saw a gap. Real estate agents were completely confused on where to start with their marketing. It was a foreign language. I became the go to for all marketing questions and developed a love for helping them show up + market their brand with confidence. With all that said, my biggest lesson is this… Keep going. You will find your place in the world. You will find your people. You will find your passion. You will know your value. Just don’t quit.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live on the northside of the Metro Atlanta area and one of my favorite places to hang is definitely Sivas Tavern Kennesaw. There is a live DJ every night, good food, drinks, and hookah. The Battery ATL is another must go if you’re visiting the area. There are plenty of places to eat + have fun (especially on a day with beautiful weather)

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband. I don’t give him enough credit for his support. He has helped me stay on course and stick with my passion when I thought about taking other routes and for that I am forever grateful. I’m the risk taker of us two and he does not hinder that part of me which is great because it allows me to have the freedom to flourish. He has supported decisions that could have went left but he trusts God and I to fulfill my vision and I appreciate that.
