We had the good fortune of connecting with Amairany Mendoza-Cruz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amairany, how does your business help the community?
My business helps the community building wealth through purchasing/selling real estate. We focus on Educating our future homeowners the importance of buying and the factors that come with the home buying process. Every client has a different scenario, everyone’s path is different. Many people are afraid or are misinformed based on myths about buying real estate. Purchasing real estate is a great way to build equity for the future. You get some protection with inflation because rents do increase with time, homeowners get tax benefits, just to name a few. I am fluent in Spanish and English which is an advantage to help my Latino-American community.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am in the Real Estate business, it is a tough market for buyers but it is definitely doable with a strong offer and sufficient funds. I am always excited to take new clients and help them achieve their personal goals from buying a new home to selling and making a good profit. It is very exciting to see buyers win an offer in a multiple offer scenario. It is always a pleasure heading to the closing table to hand out keys, my favorite part of a Real Estate transaction.
Some of the lessons that I have learned are that I do have to be very strict with time management, following up with clients, and always looking for a opportunity to grow.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting the area I will start of by taking them to the largest cultivating aquarium in the world which is here in Atlanta. Following the aquarium we will stop by the SluttyVegan ATL for lunch to try some of the best vegan burgers and fries. After lunch we will head to the Atlanta Beltline to walk around and try some of the local spots for drinks and maybe dessert .
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout is to my parents because I am a product of their hard work and dedication to family. I come from a hard working Mexican family. I grew up seeing both of my parents worked hard for everything we had. My love for Real Estate came from my Father who I witness build new homes and renovate homes for a living. My mother has a house cleaning business and I remember being a little girl and going with her to all different kinds of homes to give estimates for her services.
As my business grows, my time with family shrinks but I know they understand that I am living my purpose helping others achieve personal goals with Real Estate. There is days where I do get discourage especially in this tough market but my parents are always there to encourage and remind me of how hard I’ve work to get where I am currently at .
